HANGRY!


I cheated a lot but not like I didn’t really try hard and I always learn a lot of things. I knew when I was cheating and it was survival cheating. Yeah, that sounds good. You do what you gotta do and you justify it however you need to. So whatever works, right?  🙂

I got the scan done. I pretty much napped thru the whole thing. I tried not to go to sleep, but hello I’m lying down all peaceful and quiet like. My intentions are always to meditate and it starts like that then I snore. Wake myself up! 😀

So after the scan, I was so hungry because I didn’t eat all day. I could of but I didn’t. I was thinking of a huge dinner. I got home was trying to wrangle everyone together, it was working out like I thought it would. By the time everyone was together I realized there would probably be lines & have to wait some more. I was so HANGRY! Hungry angry!  You know when your blood sugar is outta whack and so ‘s your mind?  I JUST WANNA EAT A REAL MEAL. So I called it in, so my son could go pick up the food.

Finally I got to eat. Ate all of it. Ate too much. Made myself sick but happy. I had me some smothered chicken with collared greens, sweet potatoes and cornbread. I think my body went into shock with the salt. I’m assuming its a good thing. Its telling me I really don’t need the salt and I agree. LOL But it taste so good.

So then yesterday had another pig out day, we went to a seafood buffet. You know its a good Asian buffet when majority of the people in there are Asian families.  I think I made up for the 3 weeks of LID in 3 days of pigging out.

I learned I don’t need a muffin or danish in the morning; watermelon, blueberries or blackberries are better. I can eat french fries with no salt and I like it that way better now.  Nuts are a great snack, buy the bulk stuff. Unsalted nuts are better then salted. Carry snacks. Eat something every 2 or 3 hours. Don’t starve. Graze.

I am hoping I choose food better now. Well we’ll see how long that last?  Everything in moderation.

Yes I am calm now, the Low Iodine Diet (LID) is over.
