Pennies From Heaven

Tomorrow is freaking March! WTH I’m still trying to remember what I did in January. May as well skip that thought and on to what did I do in February other then work, sleep, eat & drive. Not necessarily in that order. Sleep, drive,  eat, work, drive, eat, sleep – yeah, more like that order. But its all good, it means I woke up, did productive things or acted like I did and am still here to write about it. Good sign. ❤

Pennies from heaven! Tenfold,  as I found a dime! Felt like I hit a jackpot. I must go and buy a lottery ticket. 🙂  This morning as I’m walking into Safeway at daybreak and I see something shiny on the ground and its a DIME! Winner winner, chicken dinner. Well in this case it was coffee!

I got my weekly coffee. I figure once a week won’t kill me. And if it does, it will take longer then having coffee everyday right? Whatever. Some days I just have to get that craving out of the way. And I call myself a tea drinker, such a liar liar pants on fire.

As I picked up that dime this morning, I thought of my Dad.  When I was little way way back in the day of Fernandez Village/Ewa; my Dad would scold us on weekends for not waking up early. Excuse me; 7 a.m.  on a weekend is early! But nobody ever dare say that for fear an ass whoopin’ aka dirty lickens. But he would tell us we missed the money falling out of the sky. We would laugh, run and  look out the window; tell him, NOT! He would explain;  “I wake up first and pick’em all up all ready, I get money, I can go tarate”(chicken fights) and walk out the door. We would think on that as we watched cartoons. LOL

Messages from heaven. Sometimes I feel like dead people send me messages. Well not just any dead people; I’m talking family and friends. When ever its money on the ground, I think its my Dad. Then there’s songs that come on on the radio and its sparks a memory of friends who have gone on. Or dreams that they called me and we talked and it pisses me off that I can’t remember what about, just that we talked!  Or that we cruised around in the car – Kunia Road and around the island; like cutting out times.   LOL My makediedead friends gone too soon but still making me laugh.

Poor Man’s Latte

I WAS gonna buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks but I talked myself out of it.

I get to work and there’s coffee made so I get this brilliant idea: I can make me a poor man’s latte. LOL

So  I put a packet of cocoa in a cup and pour coffee in it.  I take a sip and get instantly happier?   A rush of calm and ooooh and ahhhh and OFk its sugar! LOL

Cracked myself up. WTH need to finish the cup of “latte” – no waste. 🙂

Monday Morning Coffee

I drink coffee but I don’t usually drink coffee. OK I drink coffee BUT only if I buy it. I’m phroo phroo like that or maybe a coffee snob? LOL

I love Dutch Bros but I’m sorry I am not waiting 10 cars in line or 10 people at the window in line. I know, no patience. Once upon a time I could drive up to Dutch Bros and be the first or second car. Not no more. I asked the kids there why is everybody here NOW. They told me ever since the Dutch Bros big boss dude went on Undercover Boss business has been booming. Ok fine, but I’m still not waiting in line with 10 or more cars/people in front of me. BUT if I see 3 or less, I’m there! So I did that the other weekend; saw three cars so got in the line for my small anialator. OMG the one person infont of me ordered like 8 drinks! WTH! I wish I had someone to do a coffee run for me.

In general I’m a tea person. BUT Monday mornings I need a kick start so I get a cup of coffee at Starbucks in Safeway. Only because its down the road from work, I go get something for lunch or breakfast anyway and just because its there.

My usualy order at Starbucks is a small white mocha misto. I refuse to say TALL because its  not. Its like calling Little People tall, they are not. Why are they/Starbucks changing the definition of size. Is that a man thing? Instead of a small dick its now a tall dick?  Yeah I want a tall dick! LOL

So this morning a barrista – fancy smancy word for person who makes coffe – made me my usual order. Its my first time ordering from him. Never saw his before. My coffee was exceptionally good. Or was it becasue it was Monday morning? Well not all barrista’s are created equal. Even though they use the same recipe it comes out different. My daughter brought home an order once and it tasted watery.  She complained about her hot chocalate not tasting right.  I told her mines tasted watery. She said thats what it is!

Anyway Monday morning coffee done, time to get my rear in gear and work!

Coffee, Tea, or Me!

All of thee above. LOL

Don’t know what’s wrong with me this morning; I got me my small Starbucks. I refuse to call it tall, cause we all know it’s not . So I have coffee and I get to work and I make a cup of tea. WTH?

I think I bought coffee because there were no lines. I won’t stand inline in the mornings. I’m not in a rush, I just don’t want to spend the time in a line; I just move on. So no lines so I bought a coffee. I’m a tea person. But if I drink coffee  its the expensive kine.  I don’t ever make coffee, I buy coffee.

Out of habit, I went to the office kitchen and I made a cup of tea. Get back to my desk and I have coffee, tea, and me.  DUH?

It’s a small wannabe tall coffee so I drink it all first then move on to my cup of tea.

What is the point? Make up my mind. 🙂 I need to quit buying coffee; that’s $4.00 I could save. AS IF. That’s $4.00 more groceries. Okay WalMart, same difference. LOL

I’m a tea person. I think I buy coffee just to be TRENDY. 😀 I like Dutch Brothers better then I like Starbucks. But the Dutch Bros I go to always have long ass lines. Both at the window and drive thru. I remember a time when I could just drive up and I’d be the 1st or 2nd car inline. Not anymore. So I stopped going there. Unless I pass the place and there’s only 2 cars then I’m #3. That’s happened like once so far. 😦

Coffee sends me to the bathroom. I know this yet I still drink it. Tea is healthier, right? I think so. Tea is always calming to me. I like drinking tea and eating ice cream. Its a hot cold thing. Oral fixation? nah nah nah….

I like different teas. The fruity fruity flavor kine I drink when I’m sick, because if I can taste/smell the flavor then I’m not that sick and its a good sign.  Basic green tea is my usual. I also like Earl Gray; just like Captain Pecard. ❤

Well I should go and savor my tea. Before I have to go to the bathroom.
